How to use?

Activation of the mobile application

After you have submitted your application and indicated MayaSoft as the commissioner, we will review it within 15 minutes. If the data is verified and there are no problems with the application, you will receive two messages from the official MARTA account about successful registration.

Download and open the application

  • If you haven't downloaded the app yet:

    • Go to Google Play on your Android device.

    • In the search bar, type "MARTA Terminal".

    • Find the app with our logo and click "Install".

    • Wait for the app to download and install.

  • Open the app:

    • Click the MARTA icon on your device's home screen.

Select language and agree to the terms

  • When you first launch, select your preferred interface language.

  • Read the Public Offer and click the "Agree" button.

  • Grant all necessary permissions requested by the application.

Enter your phone number

  • On the start screen, enter the phone number you specified in the application.

  • Click the button on the "Next" icon (arrow to the right).

Confirm your phone number

  • A one-time code for your MARTA account will be sent to the specified number.

    • Important: Do not share this code with anyone to ensure the security of your account.

  • Enter the received code in the appropriate field in the application.

Grant additional permissions

To ensure safe use of the application, you must allow access to the following functions:

  1. Camera:

    • Purpose: to prevent video recording of the application screen.

    • Action: when prompted, select the "Allow while using the application" option.

  2. Microphone:

    • Purpose: to prevent sound recording within the application.

    • Action: grant access when prompted.

  3. Geolocation:

    • Purpose: to monitor the location of transactions and ensure payment security.

    • Action: allow access to geolocation when prompted.

Authorization Complete

  • Once all necessary permissions have been granted, the application will be activated.

  • You will be taken to the main screen of the application and can start using MARTA to accept payments and fiscalize receipts.

Accepting payment from a card (without fiscalization)

Once the app is activated, you are ready to accept payments. Please follow the steps below to complete a successful transaction:

Enter the payment amount

  • On the main screen of the application, enter the amount that the client must pay.

  • Click the "Accept payment" button.

Set up Do Not Disturb mode (first time you launch it)

  • The app will ask for permission to activate Do Not Disturb mode. This is to prevent incoming calls from interrupting your payments.

  • Click OK in the dialog box to go to your phone settings.

  • Find the MARTA Terminal app in the list and grant permission.

  • Return to the app.

Preparing to read the map

  • Once you return to the app, you will see a screen confirming that the card is ready to be read.

  • Ask the customer to place the payment instrument (card, smartwatch or phone) on the back of your device (where the NFC antenna is located).

  • Hold the payment instrument for 3 seconds for successful reading.

Completing payment

  • After reading the data, the application authorizes the transaction:

    • If the status is "APPROVED", the payment has been successfully made. The funds are credited to your account on the next business day.

  • An electronic receipt will be created automatically. Share the receipt with the client:

    • Show the QR code on the screen.

    • Or send the receipt via SMS or messengers.

Payment cancellation

Follow these steps to refund the payment to the buyer's card:

Go to the application menu

  • On the main screen of the application, open the menu.

  • Select the "Payment history" option.

Find the payment you need

  • Select the transaction you want to cancel.

  • Swipe left on it.

Confirm cancellation

  • Confirm the payment cancellation request in the dialog box that appears.

Attach your customer card

  • Ask the customer to attach the card from which the payment was made.

  • Please note: using another card will cause an error.

Make sure the operation was successful

  • After successful authorization, the status “CANCELLED” will appear on the screen.

Online cash register activation

To start using MARTA Terminal as an online cash register for fiscalization, follow these steps:

Assign MayaSoft as the Commissioner

This step is only required for users who have not yet specified MayaSoft as a commission agent. For this step, please review the following instructions:

  • For Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs ➡️

Leave a request

  • Write to us in the app chat: “I want to enable the online cash register mode.”.

  • We will activate this mode for you free of charge.

Adding a product/service to the list

You can add products or services to your checkout in three ways:

  1. Via a barcode scanner

    • Scan the barcode of a product or service using your phone camera.

  2. Manually by IKPU (Identification code of the service payer)

    • Please enter the unique code of the product or service as specified in your taxpayer register.

  3. Manually by barcode

    • Enter the product barcode assigned by the manufacturer or by you.

After adding, please indicate:

  • Name of the product or service.

  • Unit of measurement (e.g. piece, kilogram, hour).

  • VAT (if required).

Sales transaction (with fiscalization)

Start collecting your shopping cart:

  • Select products or services from your list.

  • Indicate the required quantity.

Check your shopping cart:

  • Make sure the quantity and amount of products or services are correct.

Select payment method

When completing the sale, select the payment method:

  • Card: Payment is made via the terminal (see instructions).

  • Cash: The application records payment in cash.

  • Mixed payment: Specify the amount paid by card and cash.
